GOATBot is a Chrome extension, which means it runs in a desktop browser — not on a console. That's true no matter which platform you actually play EA FC on. If you're on PS5 or Xbox, the setup has one extra step compared to PC; here's exactly what changes and what doesn't.
The rule that applies to every platform
The EA FC Ultimate Team Web App only runs in a desktop browser — Chrome, Edge, Safari, or Firefox on a computer, not inside the game on your console and not in a phone's mobile browser. EA also requires you to sign into Ultimate Team on your actual console or PC periodically to keep Web App and Companion App access active; if you skip that for too long, access lapses until you log in through the game itself again. And you can't be logged into Ultimate Team on console at the same moment you're using the Web App — exit UT on console first, then log into the Web App in your browser. None of this is a GOATBot requirement, it's how EA built the Web App, but it shapes how sniping actually works on each platform.
PC
The simplest setup. You already have a desktop browser, so you install GOATBot, open the Web App in Chrome, and you're sniping from the same machine you play on — no second device needed. Just remember to fully exit Ultimate Team before opening the Web App, since EA won't let both run logged in at once.
PS5
PS5's built-in browser can't run Chrome extensions, so GOATBot can't run on the console itself. You'll need a separate Windows or Mac computer (or laptop) with Chrome installed — that's where GOATBot and the Web App actually run. Your PS5 still matters: log into Ultimate Team on it periodically to satisfy EA's access requirement, then do your actual sniping and market management from the browser on your PC or Mac.
Xbox
Same situation as PS5 — Xbox's console browser doesn't support Chrome extensions either, so GOATBot needs to run on a separate PC or Mac. Log into Ultimate Team on your Xbox from time to time to keep Web App access active, and run GOATBot from a desktop browser elsewhere.
What about the mobile Companion App?
The Companion App is EA's mobile version of the Web App, for iOS and Android. Since it's a native mobile app rather than a desktop browser, it can't run Chrome extensions — so GOATBot doesn't work inside it. If you want automated sniping, the Web App in a desktop browser is the only route, regardless of which console you play on.
Once you've got a desktop browser in the picture — your own PC, or a separate one if you play on PS5 or Xbox — installing GOATBot takes about two minutes. From there, the filters and sniping features work identically no matter which console you actually play on.
